Over the Christmas break, Lincoln symphonic winds performed at the Midwest clinic for the first time in school history. This was the 60th Annual conference held in Chicago. To receive an invitation to perform at Midwest is considered one of the highest achievements that any school band can receive. Only five high school bands in the country are selected each year to perform at this event. While in Chicago, band members took the opportunities to do many things, one of which was playing in the snow. Some of the students had not seen snow before.
