The 3rd term contained 11 weeks of hard work at Lincoln. Freshmen and Sophomores had FCAT reading and math, and the Juniors took FCAT Science. Lincoln’s calculus team participated and won first place in the statewide Invitational Mu Alpha Theta Competition in mid-February 2006. They were up against 75 other schools. We also have new Star Athletes, Student Spotlights, and a Teacher Spotlight. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Spring Break. We most definitely deserve it.

Calculus anyone?

Lincoln was first out of the 75 schools with over 1,200 students who competed. This was the first time ever that our math team has ever one first place at the statewide competition. "Mirror Mirror on the Wall..."

On Saturday, February 25th, there was a Leon County Foreign Language Expo. It displayed students’ many talents for the languages they are learning in school. Lincoln’s French department put on the well-known story of Blanche Neige, otherwise known as Snow White in English. In this scene, Crystal A. plays the evil queen and Melissa P. plays as the mirror.
