We have experienced a lot of events at Lincoln recently. The 10th graders took the FCAT Writing test. Any students interested in getting help preparing for the FCAT Reading and Math tests -- to be administered in late February -- can attend lunch sessions. Ms. Avni Vyas and Mr. Jose Fiallos are providing the FCAT Attack sessions in room 419 during the first and second lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Students can also attend free after-school FCAT strategies sessions to be held on February 16th and 23rd in room 419.

 February 1st was Signing Day for the football players. Spring sports teams had their annual Pep Rally. We also had a day for students to come in and have their picture taken with their Valentines.

Valentine's Day Photos

Junior Racquel R. and 2004 graduate Stephen R. This couple has been together for two and a half years, even with Stephen being gone in Afghanistan. Stephen is an assault man and carries guns from M16’s to smalls (a rocket launcher). We asked Racquel what love meant to her and Stephen. She said, “No matter how far away your loved one is, you need them more every second, you never let go of that feeling you get when they hold your hand and simply say, I love you.”
