We had Christmas break and now we are all back in school. We have already started off this year with Mohawks, one-act drama plays, and a class experiencing the Monk and Nun way of life. The school's symphonic winds band played its hearts out in the Midwest Clinic held in Chicago. Students received report cards and celebrated Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday with a day off school. Lincoln is now looking forward to enjoying the new year.

As you may know you have seen some students walking around with bleached-blonde hair and Mohawks. The students who have their hair styled this way are wrestlers. The wrestlers wanted to show team unity and to be recognized throughout the whole school. The Mohawk style was chosen to excite everyone and prompt people to ask about their hair. So everyone support our brave wrestlers who walk around with their Mohawks.
